SAWMAN S.T.A.B. 8.5-inch "Skelly"

The S.T.A.B. - ("Sawman" Tactical Advantage Blade) 8.5-inch "Skelly" is a lightweight, multi-purpose tactical knife with 17 practical tools and no moving parts. The S.T.A.B. is machined from CMP D2 carbon tool steel and hardened to 60 HRC.

Available in 3 color configurations:

• Black / Black – Black blade with Black Kydex sheath
• Gray / FDE – Gray blade with FDE Kydex sheath
• Gray / OD – Gray blade with OD Kydex sheath

This blade was conceived from the necessity for lightweight tools with multiple functions in demanding Spec Ops missions where gear must be selected wisely, based on reliability and value of function.

In SEAL Team operations, when it comes to all the gear we must carry, we say, "ounces make pounds and pounds make pain." If you're carrying 200 pounds of "lightweight" gear, you're still carrying 200 pounds of gear! So, every item is carefully selected according to its actual usefulness in the dark of night, halfway around the world in a hostile environment when problems must be solved in the quickest, most effective manner.

The right gear can be key in such environments and situations under adverse conditions.

The sheath comes with 2 high quality blade clips for belt or strap mounting.

The first batch of blades was contracted to M3 Tactical out of AZ, which has since gone out of business. The blades have been metallurgically tested by a trusted 3rd party engineer for composition and integrity with confirmation positive on CMP D2 carbon steel, hardened to Rockwell 60. 

Following runs of the current design, and variants, are expected to be carried out by a surgical tools manufacturer in GA.
